Gerant

The family's CFO

One person who brings together the complete picture of what the family owns, owes and pays, and is the family's first point of contact for it.

01

Every provider sees one part of the position

Each bank sees its own account.

The accountant sees the annual accounts of the companies.

A product provider sees the shares and bonds.

Each is paid for the part it manages, and none is paid to assemble the others or to add up what the whole arrangement costs.

The complete view sits with the principal, usually unwritten.

A picture held that way is hard to hand on: the next generation inherits statements rather than a position.

02

One role, one fixed fee, one point of contact

  1. 01

    The whole picture

One statement of everything the family owns, owes and pays, checked against the banks: real estate, art and collections counted alongside the investment portfolio.

  2. 02

    Judgment, on request

A written analysis of any investment proposed, and a non-binding view before anything is signed.

  3. 03

    One person to call

Someone who knows the context and is the family's first point of contact.

  4. 04

A view that is kept, not taken

Figures are consolidated continuously, and the family gets a call when something moves outside agreed limits. The position is current on any day, not a snapshot once a year.

03

What Gerant never does

Gerant never holds the family's money, buys or sells on its behalf, sells it anything, lends to it, or engages in extra projects. The family's banks and providers keep managing what they already manage.

04

An independent company, built beside the family office

Three separate companies, each with one job.

Praxis

The family office

Praxis Private Office, established in 2000, is a multi-family office: independent, owned by its own management, and not a financial institution. It helps client families structure their assets and develop investment strategies, today and for the next generations.

F3 Finance

The investment office

A separate, licensed company built beside the family office, with the families' own capital behind it. It can create and run funds of its own on the families' behalf, and is authorised by the FSMA as a manager of alternative investment funds.

Gerant

The family's CFO

A separate company that works closely together with F3 Finance, and says so openly. The connection is deliberate: it is how Gerant families gain access to the selection already made on the core families' behalf.
